The skin is forced to produce more oxygen by increasing blood circulation, flushing the lymphatic system and stimulating cellular metabolism as well as collagen production. How is the CO2 Carboxy Gel therapy performed ?

At the Gua Sha Facial Co., I first do a custom cleanse, followed by a Dermaplane.(A method of physical exfoliation leaving the skin with a luminous glow. Removing the dead skin cells along with fine “peach fuzz” (Vellus hair) that traps dirt & oils. This can be done every 3-4 weeks only).  

Then, after the Dermaplaning treatment, the Carboxy Gel will be applied and covered with a special activating mask.

As soon as the mask is pressed into the gel, carbon dioxide gas is released.

You will feel a tingling sensation. The mask is pressed gently for 5+ minutes. Lymphatic drainage using my Gua Sha massage tools will also be performed to remove all the toxins.

You will relax an extra 15 minutes, listening to soothing music, allowing your skin to relax and absorb the gel.  The product will then be removed. It does not have any downtime and it is safe for all clients and skin will not get red or won't be irritated. There are literally no known side effects associated with CO2 Carboxy Gel Therapy. This is followed by a customized serum (for your skin concerns).

How many treatments are recommended?

You can see results from just one treatment and you can do it right before important events.    However, the  best results of the CO2 Carboxy Gel Therapy is cumulative.  So we recommend a series to see greater results.  (For best results with Dermaplaning, it is best to do a follow up after 3 - 4 weeks).   It's a great treatment to use with Dermaplaning on a regular basis, as well.  You will see lasting results.
